Goals

  • Provide Trauma-Informed Care: Deliver specialized psychological service (assessment, diagnostics, and therapeutic services) not only to address the spectrum of clinical disorders but also to heal trauma from adverse life experiences, promoting recovery and resilience.

  • Nurture Emotional Resilience: Equip individuals with skills and support systems to prevent the negative impact of traumatic experiences, fostering emotional strength and adaptability. Foster the development of emotionally healthy personality from early age to reduce occurrence of personality issues in later age.

  • Foster Personal Growth: Support individuals in overcoming challenges, developing coping strategies, and enhancing overall well-being through counseling. Helping individuals develop the emotional, social, and spiritual intelligence in order to progress on the continuum of having information, to being knowledgeable, to being an aware individual, and to develop the wisdom to achieve higher goals of life.

  • Facilitate growth of groups and community: Run support-group activities for various populations that need psychological assistance on a macro level for a longer period of time. Nurture the communities to develop healthier psycho-social eco systems geared towards better mental health and wellbeing. Conduct training and internship programs to build the capacity among the upcoming psychologists and contribute to building an ethically driven community of mental health professionals.

  • Culturally-Adaptive and Inclusive Care: Ensure that the psychological services are accessible, culturally sensitive, and inclusive, catering to the diverse needs and experiences of clients. Carry out psychological assessment appropriately to the need of the individual or the group to facilitate more information for diagnostics and treatment-planning. Adapt the existing and the innovative approaches of psychotherapy to the Indian and regional culture to make them more relevant and appropriate.

  • Promote Mental Health Advocacy: Advocate for mental health awareness, destigmatization, and accessibility to quality psychological healthcare services within the community not only in the international language, i.e. English, but also in regional Indian languages, such as Gujarati and Hindi.
